Proper
Lovely old fashioned pub. Live bands great atmosphere and staff who are real people not robots. New guvnor has a wicked dry sense of humour. A proper local.

Visited to eat/drink while watching the recent England vs. Holland football match; beer choice was good with reasonable prices but the food was pretty awful and the service, though quick, was not much better. Maybe they couldn't cope with the number of orders as the pub was busy but we certainly won't be eating here again.
