Honestly, the best fish and chips I've had in years! It was everything you could hope for in a classic fish and chips experience. The chips were an amazing mix, from the small and crispy ones to the big, hearty pieces—all coming together like a perfect symphony of flavors. Truly, a magnificent feast for the senses.
Local award winning fish and chips, always cooked fresh with generous portions, good quality sausages used for the sausages in batter too.
So this was my first and last visit I'm afraid.
Chips absolutely awesome.
However, fish was not cooked to order. Our cod was bone dry, batter was rock solid. Such a shame fish Really makes the difference and should be served better than that
Great chippy. Haddock was very tasty and batter was crisp and not greasy, service friendly and quick, curry sauce also great.
Service was quick but fish was not great, soggy flat batter and tasteless as if frozen, chips were fine, not v chrispy, but very expensive. Sorry we were disappointed, nothing like the photos on here at all.
Best local chip shop around, have one nearer to me but always come here. Great service, tasty food and decent portions. What more could you ask for.
