Nice food
Quiet when we visited late morning, this popular pub was packed at 7pm. Interesting and large layout, with good selection of beers and friendly staff. Plenty of seating.
Edit to earlier review - menu has changed and there are now several options which can be customised for vegan so have changed my review to 5 from 4. Tomato salad starter was lovely. Could still do with having a veggie and vegan menu (or section on main menu), but so much better. The staff were amazing when I went in as well - both girls behind the bar were more than helpful. Also amazing live music on Thursdays. Recommend.

this would be my favourite place and regular date night but no vegan options at all.
you did me the lamb dish (minus lamb) which was lovely roast veggies (spicy) with chips. that’s a perfectly good option so please put it on the menu.

Beautiful interior, lovely polished brass tables and real fires to warm ourselves by. Friendly staff and super welcoming to dogs too. Dairy and meat options looked great when they came out but I was sad to see not many vegan options (a couple of menu items can be made vegan, but only by removing ingredients). Some more plant based cooking would be amazing to round the menu out neatly!
Absolutely the best fish finger sandwich I've ever had. Will probably be back for an evening meal soon.
Lovely place, wasn't too busy for a Saturday Lunch time, but did wait quite a while for our food. Beautiful shabby chic decor

The staff were friendly. They looked busy but they were professional, patient and ensured customers were seen/served promptly. Food was beautifully presented and tested delicious. There were alot of people but the atmosphere was relaxed.
