Top notch service every time! I must mention this one occasion when I ordered few chapati & curry and later realised I should have ordered at least 1 nan ..anyhow I reached for the pickup the gentleman at the counter gave me a complimentary peshwari naan! How did he know ? 🙂. Food is always great we love the paneer tikka masala.yet to try the tilapia fish

Spot on, I won't review a takeaway on the strength of a single meal so this review is based on four meals, sides and starters. Dawat is a great takeaway, it is abundantly clear that the meat is of good quality and the sauces and curries well spiced, the dishes cooked in the tandoor that we have order have been excellent and vegetables like onion and peppers which are often over reduced or blended in takeaway food retain their form bringing a subtlety which can be missing sometimes. Service is obviously different to a restaurant, but on each occasion the staff have been friendly and have varied dishes according to taste. I can recommend the Chicken Tikka Pyaza, Chicken Tikka, and the Zaal Joll. All the starters that we have ordered have been excellent. It's also great to see the little hub in Abbotswood building up, and Dawat is a great addition.
