Went on pub crawl (well, hike) around South Derbyshire today and made this my first stop.

Very good pizza and prices are not but at all, so nice inside and outside but unfortunately the maintenance is not that good a table outside was a bit dirty, anyway it was a nice to eat there
Lovely little village pub. Really reasonable prices for food and generous portions. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Car park is small so not always space at busy times but we just parked on the road.
Great country pub with friendly atmosphere. Uncomplicated menu offers very good value meals cooked to order. Makes a pleasant change when everything seems to cost more every week. Thank you,
Popped in for a quick pint, bar was cosy and the staff were very helpful. Passing through while stopping in the area, shame I had the car.

Popped in for some lunch whilst staying in the lodges at rosliston forestry centre. Lovely little pub with friendly staff and locals. Drinks were good and the food was top notch. The pie of the day was delicious
Monday lunchtime food excellent prawn salad for the wife,ham egg & chips for myself,brilliant ham gorgeous. 😋
