Only stopped for a quick lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant area was very busy but, as we were only having sandwiches, we sat outside. The service was friendly and the beer was good. A decent choice of sandwich fillings.
Lovely little wedding venue. Staff where friendly and helpful . Food was well presented and good portions. Nice little beer garden at the rear of the building with plenty of parking.
10/10 experience. We booked online which was super fast and easy. Staff were all super friendly even making a fuss of our little dog and giving him biscuits. The food was delicious and excellent quality. One of the best meals out we’ve had in while. Highly recommend!
We had such a wonderful evening at The Mill Race! The staff were so helpful, the food was gorgeous and we were able to celebrate a family birthday in a relaxed and happy way.

Really enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch here today. Really lovely waiting team looked after us swiftly and with a great personal touch. Highly recommended
A great place to eat a reasonable size menue choice ( langasteins were completely sold out on our visit) 4 of eat together with bread and oil balsamic dip along with garlic and oil starter mains Kofta, hunters chicken, local 8 ounce ring sausage, and 8 ounce gamon with 2eggs all with chips and onion rings. Mains were so plentiful no Rome for sweets. If we are in area again will definitely re book a visit. Would recommend to all when in the Forest of Dean area.
My husband and I have just enjoyed a superb anniversary meal here. We could not recommend it highly enough. Wonderful

The staff were all brilliant and friendly, we all felt truly welcome, even the kids and the dog!
As for the food? Wow! A simple, we'll chosen pub food menu, but cooked with the very best of ingredients and to absolute perfection, truly stunning food!
The kids menu, had actually quite big portions of actual, real food, not dumbed down, but at their level and with the same level of care and attention as ours. The puddings are an absolute must!
Did I say staff were all brilliant? Well they were!
We will definitely be back when we're next in the area.
Lovely sat in the sun, think they were a little stressed, service was a little slow, but there was a lot of people socially distanced.

still a great place. Food very good, nice out in the sun. Staff also great. Making a real effort running the place.
Stopped here after Malvern Spring Show and they found room for us. Had a fabulous steak just as I had requested, staff were fabulous and couldn't have been friendlier.
