Popped in for a small lunch, ended up feasting on the most delicious loaded fries and chicken wings I've ever had! Cannot wait to return and try some other dishes, although the loaded fries will be difficult to pass. Staff were friendly and attentive.

I have eaten at The old School House café several times over the past few months & what a find! They do the best Seafood Chowder I’ve ever had, accompanied by delicious homemade bread. I’ve tried several different dishes on the menu, including desserts & have never been disappointed. It’s so good to have such a great cafe (relatively close) to bring friends & family to when they are visiting. I’m always assured of a delicious experience 😋

Busy Saturday, we were seated quickly and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Great range of choices at a good price and the food we had - signature burger for 1 and steak sandwich for the other were amazing. Every fresh and very tasty. Good sized portions as well. Would definitely recommend and just to emphasise again the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

I had breakfast on the terrace. The staff was super nice (spoke to three different people). The location is great and comfy. The eggs were good, the bacon (paid extra for it) was a bit stale and tough. The main issue is that it took 20 mins from ordering until I got the coffee, and another 10 mins until the food arrived. That delay was a bit too long to be honest. The price was fair for what I got

Great place to have a pancake breakfast or a late dinner. Atmosphere is great. The place is beautiful and the staff very thoughtful and professional. We have been there visiting few times.

Wonderful spot with a delicious afternoon tea. Staff were so kind as we have a couple of family members who have health concerns, they put us upstairs and we had the whole floor to ourselves. The food was delicious, the scones and carrot cake were my favourites. Thanks for making my sisters family hen party a special experience.

Nine of us booked an evening meal here and we were promptly seated. Our drink order was quickly taken but the drinks didn't arrive as quick and one of our party had to remind his drink hasn't arrived. Our waitress was friendly and helped us choose based on her first hand knowledge of the meals. It wasn't that she'd tried everything on the menu though. My choice of wine was complemented but that might have been said to every customer! We didn't have to wait long for our starters, I suspect that might have been to do with we were there as potentially the last customers to arrive so the chef want too busy. I had the ribs and no complaints from me. I followed the ribs with a burger/chips and again I was happy with my choice. There were no complaints from our party and I think between us only two main meals were duplicated. I did notice there was sometimes a queue for the toilets which isn't great but the toilet was lovely and clean.

This has to be the best breakfasts and coffee I've ever had. Great atmosphere, except for the swearing care worker, and very good staff. The pancakes are fluffy and as big as your head and fry was delicious.
