Anne-marie did a lovely spread on wednesday for my mum's wake would highly recommend the ship and it's staff any day of the week. Fantastic atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble, plenty of banter especially when my husband torments Anne-marie over football xx

Called in with the dog for a quick drink. Friendly barman offered water and treats for the mut, but unfortunately no coffee for the owner in this pub, but happy to have a coke instead. Clean pub with a nice atmosphere.

A warm welcoming proper pub with a good selection of beers and ciders. Very nice staff who make you more than welcome. Easy to park with a carpark to the side and rear of the pub. Outdoor seating at the front and also at the rear of the pub.

Very nicely furnished venue. They have an area for drinks where you have a good selection of largers and ciders on the pumps (not just your normal standard options). Lots of fancy gins to try and a newly renovated outdoor area. The other side is for food, lots of good options on the menu and can cater for all requirements, e.g. vegan,vegetarian, dairy free. All in all a great place to hang with family and friends at affordable good prices.

A lovely friendly local pub with great food, big portions, at a great price. Well trained staff that are up to date & very understanding of allergens. A really well kept pint, which is well presented in very clean glasses.

Just had a roast beef Sunday dinner here, we didn't book a table, but we still got a table for 2, our waiter was really caring, and was from my way (durham) so it was nice to have a friendly face and understood my Geordie accent and banter. Lovely little pub, we will be back again....

Just to say thank you (Scott and all your staff) for making my 60TH Birthday evening so enjoyable on 6th march.We had a total of 22 guests and every one of them have said how good the night was . The food choice(which was cooked well) ,service ,and pleasant surroundings got top marks.Our family would recommend this venue .THANKS again Robert
