Been eating here 27 year since I was at school and I’ll keep eating here touchwood for as long as it’s open, foods great always has been, they always cater for our needs, a lovely family run business, caring genuine people who keep costs low as possible in todays climate that’s an achievement in itself,always service with a smile and great conversation. There fish and pies are a must absolutely beautiful.
Enjoyed an excellent portion of lamb's liver, onions and gravy...with chips. Brilliant flavour and really delicious nosh!
I've travelled up and down the country and this is by far the best I've been to the prices and brilliant and the customer sever is out standing and when you walk into the shop they make you feel right at home highly recommended

I suffer with IBS and every time I use another fish shop locally it causes a flare up.
Not this time as they use a solid vegetable oil so similar to what fish and chip shops used to use years ago.
The food wasn't greasy, it was all freshly made to order. Would definitley recommend this fish and chip shop.
We ordered large fish and chips and large peas and a large battered sausage.
2 kids meals one with small sausage and the other with a large battered sausage 2 x fish bites one with curry sauce and the other with mushy peas.
Small fish butty and 2 cans of pop and it came to just over £25 so very good prices as well considering everything Is cooked to order 😀 thank you JJ's we will be back
Got a large fish, must admit i was expecting it to be a bit larger, that’s inflation for you,
It was cooked to order which was nice, the batter- nice and crispy but it was greasy, what you can expect from a deep fat fryer. Place was clean and the staff pleasant, well worth another visit.
Lovely little local chippy.
Love the food, good portion sizes and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
The batter is dairy free too so means we can all eat here when I visit my friend.
Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!
