Had the mill dam dirty burger, chicken burger was a little burnt but the meal as a whole was absolutely delicious beef patty was nice and moist. Burger sauce was amazing. Normally I’m not a fan of homemade chips but these are within a different league. Upon sitting down and pondering about what to order the prices came across on the high side for pub food but after ordering meals with the family we spend an absolute reasonable £44 for three meals and three drinks. Staff members really accommodating with small Children and interactive with them as well. This isn’t your normal boring pub grub, I’d class this as a more bistro quality food in a pub. Will absolutely visit again and would 100% recommend anyone to go visit.

Four of us went for a meal this evening; two adults, two kids and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was fantastic and the food; incredible. Never tasted a beef burger like it. We opted for the sharing platter (pictured) and struggled to finish it. I believe one of our servers was new but you wouldn’t have known. The service from the team was top rate and they interacted with our children. This was our first time visiting the Mill Dam and it won’t be our last.

We’ve had a lovely meal at The Mill Dam today! Me and my husband both had the dam dirty burger and wow! It tasted amazing, the size of the meal is great value for money and the staff are all so lovely! Thank you and we can’t wait to come back again!

Decided to get a takeaway Carvery today whilst enjoying a pint on the decking. I was not disappointed it was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be trying it again on my next visit.

This place is great, excellent service, good quality good and the pub has been refurbished really well making it a nice environment to be. Will definitely return soon.

Very good meal. Takes a while to arrive but that is okay. Only negative was the thick bacon on the burger was quite fatty and I'd have preferred it crisper. The waitress was great, sorry I forgot the name. Carvery only on Sunday which is a shame.

Super delicious food 😋 a bit slow service, but it's forgettable because it's Saturday evening 😀 and we weren't booked in, that's a big plus that lady in charge managed to find a table for us 😀

First visit after seeing many recommendations and they weren't wrong! Nicely decorated and welcoming. Staff were very pleasant and polite and the food was excellent. We had a Lasagne and a Brisket plate. Both well presented, well cooked and big portions (not enough room for a pudding!) Staff were excellent without being intrusive and there was a good choice of beers. Will certainly be going again!

Me and my partner visited today for Sunday lunch. The carvery was amazing, a great choice of both meat and vegetables. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Definitely be back.
