Cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay. Went for a couple of hours after we had been suit shopping for my son's upcoming wedding. I don't drink alcohol (medical reasons) and was on Diet Coke which came in the traditional coke glass bottle rather than being 'on tap'. We also had food. I had the fish and chips with minted mushy peas. The food came within what I thought was a very reasonable time, it was well cooked and presented, hot and tasted great. No complaints.
Popped in for some dinner (lunch 😒) with partner, had the fish and chips (fish Friday £6.95) the waitress was very nice and polite, clean tables, some good old bangers on for music also, food was nice and a big potion of fish. Came here on Sunday also for the Sunday dinner (2 for £10) which was also very nice, think the normal menu is abit pricey, both times it was very quiet which I was very surprised at with the daily deals on offer, even a pint of dark fruits / John smiths was only £2.95 😮😁although Sunday my partner paid £6.20 for a single gin and lemonade which I thought was abit much. I would recommend Fairways for the good value daily deals and the pints, also if you can manage to sit near the window there's a lovely view of the golf course to see while eating. Can't comment on rooms as only ate here.
Absolutely amazing food could tell it was all fresh. Staff were amazing couldn’t have been more helpful would highly recommend
The room was very clean but the shower could do with a bleach clean to get rid of mould on the tiles altogether it was vey good value

The Faorways is great for a 'cheap as chips' carvery, and reasonably priced, but is unsuitable for those seeking a more 'classy' eatery.
If I go could give this place a 10 I would. . Hinge and bracket behind the bar absolutely amazing lovley atmosphere very friendly and welcoming amazing views look forward to coming back.
Good location by the golf course, open space, free parking off street. The only problem was the separate entrance to the rooms on first floor gets flooded when it's raining
Had Sunday lunch, all fresh veg not frozen. Nice choice of three meats, beef, pork and turkey. Very good value at 2 for £10. The lager was a very reasonable price unlike the evening price. Definitely go again.
Had a meal with the family here today, food was amazing, staff very friendly and very helpful. Would 100% recommend.
