First time in months me and my wife had gone out, we decided to visit s66 for a meal and we were very impressed.
For starters we had chicken wings that came with a garlic dip that was beautiful, the meat was tender and the coating was crunchy.
For our mains I had a mixed grill and my wife had a chicken sizzler.
I asked for my stake to be medium rare and it came just that. It was well seasoned and plenty of it.
All the meats were cooked to perfection and the hand cut chips were amazing too.
My wife enjoyed her chicken dish, so much so I never got the chance to try it.
The mother and daughter team who were working together who own the business were friendly and polite.
I did notice another group who were in the building who were complaining about everything, the problem was the customers not the food as when the staff moved away from the table they thought it was funny.
Would we visit again? Yep, this place is on another level compared to other places we have been. Wish we lived closer
Love It Here. Become regulars and the owner always remembers us and interacts with us and the kids. Love our food and my daughter always eats a 3 course meal and then shows everyone her empty plate and the lovely owner will give her a lollipop haha love it feels like a friends house rather than a restaurant 😘 😊 To top it all of the amazing food 😋
5 stars review even though we sent our main meals back! 2 adults 2 kids went here and everything was spot on however our steaks came out overcooked, but the owner/manger came to the table and was genuinely apologetic then cleared the table of the bill, drinks, starters and the kids mains along with free deserts, unbelievable customer service, this was obviously a "rare" mistake, NO PUN INTENDED!
We will 100% be going back in the coming weeks, after all, I have unfinished business with a 26oz steak, highly recommended place to visit.
My wife and I visited the restaurant last night.
I had a plentiful mixed grill and I have to say it's the best one I've ever had. I put this down to the quality of meat and to the Chef, Andrew.
Service was provided by Natasha who could not have been more helpful. Thank you to both of you. We will be returning.
The best steak I have ever had. Seared, came on the rock, and it slowly cooked itself. Amazing. I had 16oz Ribeye, other half had 10oz fillet. Cannot fault it at all, everything presented to us was frsh cooked and tasted divine.
Staff very friendly.
Will 100% be back.
Me and my other half came for a meal it was lovely we had hunters chicken and it was just delicious the staff were lovely and polite full we will be visiting again soon.
Love this place. Food is delightful and great prices (even before the August offers). Everything is cooked well and really nice!!
