The Secret Garden

Booked Thurs evening via the easy online booking system to visit with my friend for a catch up. We had a small breakfast each which was piping hot and freshly cooked. You got a sausage, a rasher of bacon, an egg, a hash brown and either beans or tomatoes with a slice of toast. Service was friendly, professional and very welcoming. The cafe is very cosy with a traditional but modern feel, the fairy lights are lovely. There isn't parking but lots of spaces just around the corner in the free car park.

We found this place on Google. What a find it is. The food is fresh, tasty and excellently presented. There's a good choice too, and excellent value. The coffee was perfect, my mother-in-law had a pot of tea, she loved the dinky milk bottle 😊 The sun was shining so it was lovely to sit in the sheltered outside pretty seating area. We was offered a seat inside the cute area but we took advantage of the good weather. The owner was very welcoming and her assistant was too. My mother-in-law couldn't finish all of her meal but we were able to box it up and take it home, We took a couple of cream scones away too. I will recommend it to all my family and friends and will return again.
