I went here for the first time with my 2 children my friend and her 3 children on Sunday 27th February 2022, and I rate this place top notch. The food was absolutely phenomenal, I can go as far to say it was THE BEST CARVERY I have ever had. My children also agree with me. The staff are absolutely amazing, the customer service they provided was brilliant. Very lovely team, well spoken, polite and down to earth.

Just had meal here.
Don't get me wrong the meal which we had was excellent. But it was the meat it tasted funny and cold to us it wasn't the meat which we ordered.
But overall the place is up to standard. Good friendly staff.
But would reccomend these. If it wasn't for the meat then the food would be nicer

A lovely old fashioned type pub (in a good way). Apparently they have entertainment and all sorts but as we only went for food, can only review that. Menu was a little limited, particularly for vegetarians, (although the barman told me they were gradually expanding it). That said, the food was great! Best side salad I've had for a long time, with broccoli and cheese bake, which was lovely, and garlic bread. My OH had scampi, which came with another great side salad, peas, and REAL CHIPS! All cooked really well and presented beautifully. We will go back! 😁

Quick friendly and efficient service but better yet it might just be the best pub grub I've ever had. The chips were divine. I had hunters chicken and didn't leave a drop. Was with a party of 11 and not a single complaint, everyone was very complimentary. Highly recommended.
