The tea gardens are an absolute delight. I visited on a warm sunny day in late September. I sat in the shady lower garden but there was plenty of seating in the sunnier Upper garden too. A lovely calm gentle atmosphere and no sense of being hurried. Thoroughly recommend.

We had afternoon tea in the garden. Had the most incredible Cream Tea amd 2 scones with clotted cream and jam… an extraordinary experience. The waitresses are lovely and ringing the bell to lay the bill is hilarious. This place sealed the deal with falling in love with this small village

Went to see a friend's exhibition. Love this local gallery which offers opportunities to local artists and makes. The stairs are a bit of a challenge but I saw there is a stair lift if needed. Local history displays are interesting too.

Wonderful exhibition of the artist William Nicholson who once lived here, including material loaned from his family. Don’t forget to visit the Jekyll designed garden too.
