The tea gardens are an absolute delight. I visited on a warm sunny day in late September. I sat in the shady lower garden but there was plenty of seating in the sunnier Upper garden too. A lovely calm gentle atmosphere and no sense of being hurried. Thoroughly recommend.

Main building was closed. Went for tea and cake in the garden. The garden itself is stunning and secluded, I would go there just for the garden! The tea and cake were fine, some interesting cake types to try. The prices were very reasonable. The staff are lovely. Would recommend.
This lovely cafe is a real hidden gem. Light lunches served in a beautiful walled garden at the rear. A little off the beaten track but a lovely location, friendly staff and great homemade food.
