What a wonderful place this is! Great scone, tea and cake, all the things we tried were homemade too! Beautiful surroundings, excellent farm shop stuffed full with local products as well as unusual gift ideas. Will define back.
Partner and I went over the weekend on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the tearoom and the grounds. The food and portion sizes were incredible as was the mocha I ordered. Service was also excellent.
Brilliant place to visit, I would recommend booking ahead for an afternoon tea as everything was prepared and came out almost immediately. The food was excellent and although both the sandwiches and all of the cakes were very small, it was incredibly filling. Very reasonably priced too, only £20 per person.
We were seated indoors, and were worried it would be like a greenhouse in the hot weather but with all of the doors open it was well ventilated. A little bit echo-y but that can't be helped in a space like that.
The service was amazing, the food and drinks came out immediately, empty plates were cleared out of the way almost straight away and the staff were attentive to when we needed more drinks. An excellent day!
Fantastic relaxing place. In the summer you can sit outside and all year round you can sit inside for table service and afternoon tea. The gardens are also worth a look and very close is the maze, great for families. Toilets are available in the tea rooms and there is sometimes children's activities on the lawn
Love this cafe/tea room, housed in historic glasshouses (but well ventilated when hot). Inside table service is slick and friendly and the outside servery is great on a summer's day. Food is very reasonably priced and there are other things to see on site - garden centre/farm shop/light railway (check dates) amongst other things
A wonderful spot for lunch, quietly hidden in the Hampshire countryside. The Pavilion is a firm favourite of ours, with a good menu selection, plus a great range of drinks too. The Coronation Chicken filled jacket potato (pictured) is my normal go-to option. The dressing on the side salad is also very tasty, complementing the spud itself. The sandwiches are also a good option (with or without a cup of soup as an added extra). The cakes here are also very nice (the Lemon Meringue pie is 5-stars). If the weather is nice, it’s great to sit outside and enjoy the grounds, but on a chilly day, the indoor spaces are also very cosy and inviting. If you are passing, pop in and see for yourself how good this place really is.
Houston had a great Afternoon Tea to celebrate National Afternoon Tea week at The Pavilion Tearoom. We booked and had a great time great atmosphere and a glorious afternoon.
Excellent tea room that is very dog friendly. We were able to bring our black Labradors here and they had a fantastic time. Wonderful coffee and great customer service!
A really lovely place to have a bite to eat and drink. Very friendly staff and a great nicly designed tearoom with ample seating available. Couldn't recommend enough!
Ps: Dog friendly outside!
Fantastic Tearoom! The staff are brilliant and the food is very good. Easy parking, it gets really busy here so allow time to wait or book ahead if you want to secure. There is seating inside & outside. There is the opportunity to walk around the gardens and there is a AED unit not far from the tearoom too. Highly recommend coming here, especially for afternoon tea
