It was a treat to visit this place.
Although it reminded me of several waiting rooms. The staff were very welcoming and dealt with a lot of average chat from the punters.
I had scampi and chips, straight up, the best scampi and chips I've had in years...granted, I've not eaten scampi and chips in years, but it was d3cent, especially for the price, and a drink as well.
No parking meant we had a little stroll to get their though.

Nice little Wetherspoons. Apparently in good beer guide, and real ales selection is top notch food was good 2 nice beer garden to side and rear of pub.
Great food. Excellent service all the staff spoke to were lovely, especially this one young lady with pink hair who's name was 'ella' when asked. She handed every thing with care and was extremely responsible. Honestly amazing customer service from her I'd giver her a raise if it was me!!🤣🤣
First time been here.found the pub to be light and bright unlike most of Wetherspoons pubs which tend to have subdued lighting. Beautiful beer garden. Found staff very pleasant and on the ball food good value for money will call in again. Only small gripe very small car park
This place had a great atmosphere and lovely staff. Food was good too considering it was a Spoons. Would like to go on a weekend evening as feel it would be a good place for a drink 🍸
Popped in for breakfast during a work break, have to say probably one of the nicest served! The lady on front house till was very professional and helpful. The Veggie breakfast was lovely so as the standard breakfast. Fresh, hot and tasty! The lady serving was probably one of the most polite I have ever been served by. Both ladies came by and took the time to ask if everything was alright and did we need anything? These people are a credit to your company. Service was as good as the food. I will definitely come back in when ever passing.
It looks great from the outside it has a decent sized well groomed beer garden with tables with shades too and a great choice of ales which are well looked after.
It's the inside decor that is the major let down as the place looks old and feels old.
In keeping with its average age of its clientele during the day and some nights.
Though there can be plenty of young people in here too especially at weekends.
Really impressed with all the staff here who are most excellent and work hard for sure .
Only piece of advice, please tell the smokers not to smoke in the no smoking area, happens too often.
Its a good place, but got my eggs ice cold and my pancakes stuck together like its been like that for a while. My guess not fresh
Food was good, ambiance is a little strange in such a large room filled with tables. Seems a little community center-y. Staff were nice :)
