Just spent one night here and couldn’t fault it. Had a room with a four poster and view over the garden. The room was very spacious, well furnished and bed huge and comfortable. Gardens are beautifully kept and very pretty. Very good breakfast. No evening restaurant but ate in a nearby pub.
Stayed here for a short weekend trip to the Peak District and it was great. Really close to some stunning walks. Perfect location to explore the Derbyshire Dales!
The room was beautiful old country vibe decor, lovely four poster bed which was comfortable. Had a lovely view from our room window too
We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea out on the lawn. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were all amazing, although special mention must go to the scones, which were fantastically light and tasty. A real treat!
Great Hotel and grounds. But the most impressive thing about our weekend was the staff and the food of course! We had mum's 80th birthday party there over the weekend and it was amazing! Beautiful place! Highly recommended from all our family!! Well done East Lodge!!

Had an afternoon tea with friends and can say it was the best I have ever had. The scones were delicious, apparently the recipe is a highly guarded secret. The sandwiches and other cakes were lovely too.
Have had afternoon tea here a few times. A wonderful and relaxing experience. Beautiful food, Brilliant staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Its lovely to sit in the garden with Exquisite surroundings. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
The afternoon tea was very tasty and it was presented beautiful. The scones were scrumptious. A very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with wonderful attentive service. Absolutely delightful so we have booked to go again. Thank you.
Location of a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Belvoir room (a four poster bed room) which was spacious, comfortable, warm and well equipped. The large bed was welcomed after travelling and set up us for a lengthy walk in the Peak District the next day. Very friendly staff. Dinner was excellent. T

The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and gardens, set back from the road, peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spotlessly clean with a king size bed, tea/coffee making facilities including biscuits, ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. Plenty of towels too.
