Please note . The current 3.8 rating is NOT a reflection of both the service and food that we experienced today. We'd travelled an hour and a half from Sutton Coldfield on a recommendation and were in no way disappointed. Shared the Sirloin steak sandwich with a side of fries. Melt in the mouth - 😋
Washed mine down with a bottle of their honey IPA which was delicious. We will most definitely be returning, and recommending 👍🏻
Tried here for breakfast, lovely place with really friendly staff. Their full English is great, black pudding hash is incredible! I felt like the house made beans were missing something though? Wife had corn fritters which were also really good. Not huge portions but left us with room for a croissant after which looked like they were made in house and were delicious. Breakfast, pastries, juices and coffees came to £35 so pretty good value considering everything comes from chatsworth. All in all a very good experience and would definitely go again. Thanks
My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast here, it was one of the nicest breakfasts we’ve ever had. I had the mushrooms and poached egg on brioche toast and would very much recommend it. My husband had the full English and I had a cheeky taste of the black pudding/hash brown stack and it was really delicious. Service was also excellent, would highly recommend. Unfortunately we live in Cambridgeshire otherwise we would be regular visitors!
We enjoyed a full-English on a Sunday morning. Wonderful place, food and service.
arrived 1:45pm on thursday, it hasn't got a large restaurant area, one third of area occupied by selling goods. the menu wasn't comprehensive. we ordered salmon and breakfast dishes. with that price, no potatos included in the salmon dish. breakfast meal was tasty. no free wifi was in the premises. staff were friendly.
Good food but a limited lunchtime menu. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Drinks and food arrived in good time. A relaxed atmosphere but maybe one too many tables, making the gap between tables a little close.
My husband and I visited a few weeks ago. The cafe is a cut above the usual coffee shop in a shopping centre and the building and decor are really interesting. My husband enjoyed his sweet treat and cup of tea and my cappuccino was lovely. There are a few goods on sale in the cafe and the Chatsworth gin and the Bakewell Pudding gin, though awfully expensive, looked rather appetising.
Stunning array of very tasty giant cobs, wonderful ham and salad was my choice.
There is also a huge range of other food stuff including scotch eggs, sausage rolls, olives etc...
Second visit and I really love this place. Staff are fantastic, polite and attentive. Food is really good as too are the drinks. Decor is perfect
Lovely airy cafe/shop - nice and cool on a hot day. Table service. Food was nice, but smaller portions with a bit more finesse would have suited us better.
