Basil Café is such a gem! Love their smoothies and great quality vegetarian-friendly drinks. Always a peaceful, welcoming space to relax or work. One of my favourite spots in town
Best coffee, friendly service and amazing food!
Nice place in middle of town. Waited a lot for take away coffees, and, the size came wrong. The taste was okay. Foods looked delicious and fresh but didn’t try.
Regular lunch stop when forced into the town centre shopping - Tuna melt and latte basically my payment for bag carrying. Service can be a bit hit and miss but the staff are all lovely so doesn't detract.
Great little independent cafe to meet a friend/s for lunch or coffee. Quiche and toasties are always delicious and cake and coffee are always excellent. Staff are super friendly, and it’s always clean and tidy. Dogs also welcome which is a bonus. On a not too hot sunny day, a table outside for a spot of people watching is a bonus.
First visit to Basils. Excellent selection of food and drink prepared and served with equal excellence. Acoustics are rather sharp when busy due to lack of soft furnishing but this is a price worth paying. Staff work tirelessly and are most …
