Istanbul Grill

It should be noted that this is now a tapas restaurant. You have to order a drink, is one rule, can only order the king prawns 3 times per person is another rule and the final rule is you can only order 3 plates each time but then that's unlimitless. There are occasional dishes that could be seasoned better but in the main everything is delicious. I've been a number of times and I'm working my way through the menu, I can recommend so many but if there's one that I works recommend above all others it's the ribs. Now the plates are only really 1 to 2 mouthfuls at a time but the service is that quick and efficient that it enables you to let what you've just eaten style before you're at it again. The service is always done with a smile, nothings to much trouble. The food is a set price so when I've selected the price on this review it includes my drinks too. Plus the cocktails are really good and well priced. Doesn't look much from the outside but definitely worth a visit.

Good food, quick service. Polite staff. Changed name to la scala. Went tonight for tapas as its fathers day. 2 hours for 3 rounds of tapas. Staff were none stop, however, not enough of them. I think the kitchen possibly needed more staff also. I would go back but possible mid week when perhaps it won't be as busy. Service a 3. Maybe a bit tight on them as they did graft, but management maybe could have prepared better especially as it is fathers day.

Had a brilliant meal at Istanbul yesterday evening. Pre booked a week before. On arrival greeted with a friendly member of staff who showed us our table. Although quiet on arrival it soon started to fill up. We were served by a brilliant member of staff called Lesley. She couldn't do enough for us and made our experience at the restaurant great. As for the food !.....couldn't have been better. Lots of choice at reasonable prices. The portions were so large we had to ask if we could take the dessert home with us, which we did . All in all had a fabulous experience and will certainly be going back for more. Thanks again to all the staff, especially Lesley.
