The Morton is one of my "en Route" favourite watering holes whenever travelling north towards Holyhead, Chester, or Liverpool. Sneak off at Ruabon heading for Johnstown and back on route at the next junction after Johnstown. A Traditional Coaching Inn , now with a family approach.inc. play area in the side garden, & meals that are good but don't break the bank.

I popped down for a few beers and a bite to eat after work. Staff were friendly, food was well presented and tasted nice for a fair price. I had fish and chips; it was tasty and cooked well. I would certainly recommend The Moreton Inn if you’re local or passing by.

Well what can I say.
We went Sunday the 19th for a family roast, we all wanted roast beef.
The Yorkshire puddings was very large, plenty of beef, and assorted vegs.
We all had puddings,
The staff were EXCELLENT, defo would go again next time we go to North Wales.
