Istanbul Grill

Now rebranded as "Efes Grill" althought still under the same family management, this restaurent is positioned perfectly to transition on a night out, whether is it for a meal or simply a realturkish coffee (be warned, its strong!) Great authentic turkish food - unsurprising considering the owner oversees (or prepares) every dish and takes the quality of the food personally. Worth a visit.

My friends and I stumbled upon this little gem whilst looking for somewhere to go for dinner. The food is absolutely amazing. One of the girls asked for a recommendation on the veggie options and the owner cooked her up something that wasn’t on the menu but was delicious. The rest of us had the chicken shish and it was fab!! This was my first time in Rugby as we were attending a show but would happily return to eat here again. The owner was really friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend.

We called in on a Thursday evening and were the only clientele, although there seemed to be a good number of delivery orders. The waiter was a gentleman and very engaging. He treated us with courtesy and provided a great service. The food was excellent, prepared to perfection and presented with care. My own order for the evening was grilled fish as in the photograph below. I really can't fault our experience and will revisit.

Wow, what a gem! I am not a local and I was only walking to Wetherspoon to have some food and a drink until I passed Istanbul Grill and I was attracted to the smell that came out of it, so I decided to go in and have a look. Went through the menu, ordered something, the owner - polite and pleasant - recommend something else and I was well impressed with it. Customer service was excellent and the food was fresh, delicious and well presented with an authentic feel to it. If I ever visit Rugby again, this place will be on my "to do" list.

WOOOOWWWW!!!!👍👍👍👍 They just recently opened again-but as a restaurant/grill/take away. The food was delicious,highly recommended. What a lovely restaurant,great interior,so welcoming (not finished on 100%yet,but they worked really hard turning the ordinary take away to such a lovely place).Finaly great restaurant in Rugby.
