The chase is by far the best pub in town ! Been going for over 20 years. Staff are so good and the England games have been incredible the atmosphere amazing, Steve and the staff work so hard to make it a fantastic time. Cheers and thanks to you all for all your hard work xxx
I was in a party of 11, the food was lovely & the staff were fine, if they needed more staff seemed a bit rushed with 2 on bar & a young lad waiting on but seemed to cope well.
Very welcoming staff willing to facilitate our wishes when it came to portion size for one of my guests. The food and service were both excellent.
Additionally although bookings for Christmas Day were full they found a place for one more, truly going that extra mile.
I would have no problem recommending the Case to family and friends.

It was our first visit to the Chase and the experience from being greeted by manager to a lovely chat and also all staff were very caring and asked if everything was ok, food was amazing we loved it, manager helped me with drinks because I have a walking stick which was really helpful and kind of him.

Very modern feel to this pub " inside and outside " On arrival the landlord was at the main entrance and ran through all the procedures of the pub due to the virus . If your a sports fan then this is the place for you , very large screens inside and even one outside. Finally eaten and impressed with prices plus great food . Fantastic offer's on different days and well worth a visit. Went back after covid and outside was packed " lovely sunny day " inside was full and staff are still helpful and friendly. Food still very good and reasonably priced.
Food always amazing. Service with a smile each time. Could do with a bigger selection of cocktails as each time I’ve been it’s the same ones every time and the tables are always sticky. Other then that it’s wonderful and we come here very often
Very warm welcome from lovely land lord, who explained all the new rules to the whole family. Food was amazing they even catered for portion sizes for my awkward children.
I especially loved the decor right up my street.
All the staff where lovely and beautiful.

Had an enjoyable lunch. One lunch was the wrong item (we go chicken and leek pie instead of steak and ale), but it was managed well and politely by the restaurant. They offered to replace the meal, but we decided to eat it anyway and unprompted they gave us the item for free. Venue has plenty of parking and the service was good. Would visit again,

Great Pub which accommodates to all ages. Very friendly staff. I took my daughter [10 months old] and had forgotten her plastic spoon to feed her. I asked for a tea spoon and the waitress bought out child friendly plastic cutlery 🤩🤩 Thank you Steve and staff 🙌👏👏
I only called in for a quick pint (so I've omitted my various star-ratings except for the"overall" one, and I didn't eat, and there weren't many patrons in to get a representative handle on the "atmosphere") while I was waiting for my pal and I'd reasoned my choice on the other reviews on Google maps and I can only agree with their positive feedback for the Chase. An ample sized car-park behind the pub, and the menu I picked up and perused was versatile, varied reasonably priced and had a good annotation for dietary intolerances/veggie/vegan/etc.
