I visited this Costa a few years back and was really disappointed at the service and the staff seemed to lack training. However, on a more recent visit, the branch seems to have got its act together. Staff seem to have received the training they need and they are much more friendly and helpful. Drinks and food are served quickly and everything seems to be running a lot smoother. The only downside of this particular Costa is the sound acoustics, or lack of. When it gets busy, the sound bounces round the room making the noise much worse. However, when it's not rammed, it is a great place to visit.

Lovely breakfast for a lovely price. Not sure if there was a deal on but got toast for a £1 so with a pot of tea (that you easily squeeze two cups out of) it only came to £3.25 for a simple breakfast.

Morning coffee always great to have before going work, sometimes busy and ques are with regular old ladies out for the morning sun, they love their cakes and teas :) good to see them joyful for a coppa, and staff always helpful, cheerful and on spot with extra service fast and cordial. Yes, definitely stop by, family friendly also :)
