A group of about 14 of us went to the Horns at Slitting Mill after a walk over the chase. The staff were loverly and very helpful. The food was brought out quickly and the quality was excellent. Well priced good food within a great atmosphere with friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Very friendly staff and blooming amazing food.
The fish was perfect and the Halloumi Hanger was SO much better than we could have imagined.

Saturday evening at the Horns Inn, slitting mill. Service was great. Had to amend the booking, but this wasn't a problem for staff, really accommodating. Good variety of food on offer. Portion size was off the chart, not a single person could finish the meal. Had the nachos to share for a starter. This was a main meal in its self all home made, bonus. Only dropped a star for the lighting in the area by the kitchen. It was a little dark, but didn't detract from the friendly atmosphere. Free live entertainment on the Saturday evening. But didn't stay. Had to find my comfortable joggers otherwise a Jean button would have popped and taken an eye out. Will definitely be back again.

Great service, really tasty pizza at a reasonable price, a good selection of beers and dogs welcome in the bar area…

Typical freehold pub. Great choice of drinks, ales and food menu varied, delicious, and not a pub menu that 99% pubs owned by business chains provide.
Great stop off place for starting and finishing beautiful walks into Cannock Chase.
Very dog friendly.

Came here last night for my Birthday meal, I had the pork belly & husband had the steak, was absolutely gorgeous, so tender & cooked to perfection, I highly recommend & will be coming back. Well done to you All.

Lovely pub, with beautiful rustic decor throughout, friendly staff, very dog friendly and in a nice location. We arrived after lunch but before dinner so it seemed we were out of luck for food. No! they rustled us up some fresh pizza & chips.£25 for 2 pizzas but they were stone-baked & excellent quality. Definitely visit again

Great food and service. The chicken shawarma was so good. My husband had an out of this world burger. Food& service was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We're lucky enough to live 5minutes from the chase and this wonderful pub. We called in for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed, the service was great the staff are all so friendly and make you feel so welcome. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere here and the food is outstanding 👌 thank you all at the horns x
