Nice café. The service is quick and friendly, the club sandwich with chips and a cup of tea were most welcome. I particularly liked the way that either of the 2 staff would happily take orders, deliver them to the table and I think prepare them too. None of that being ignored by someone who is doing nothing

This is a really nice cafe. Its very clean and the staff are so pleasant.. A large car park also.
This weekend we had a vegetarian breakfast and the most delicious ham and cheese toastie! A great cup of coffee and they also serve Earl Grey tea.

I like bringing my elderly mum here because it's within walking distance, the food is good honest cafe food at a reasonable price, the owner is friendly and there's always activity for her to watch.

Feb '23 update: Still thriving despite an intermittently freezing then very wet December and January.
Vince and his team have persisted through the Covid Lockdowns and emerged the other side with a BBQ set up and more seating on the terrace and weather permitting the grass.
Support a local business.
Tucked away round the back of the rebuilt Kings College pavillion. Everywhere looks better in the Summer & today the paving area was a real suntrap. Decent filter coffee, sprightly service and a bit of chat. Left before lunch but the soft rolls looked fresh. Will visit again.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at kings cafe on Monday, having eaten there several times before I can honestly say that the food has always been delicious,the premises are always spotless and the staff are super friendly and accommodating.you are always made to feel so welcome and the cafe itself has a lovely view of green fields,there is ample parking and outdoor seating.my families Go to place for the best breakfast around.i highly recommend kings.
