The setting is great inside and old Edwardian type building with a log fire fireplace and lovely conservatory overlooking the Ruislip Duck Pond (a nice festure for kids and adults), there's also a nice outdoor area overlooking the Duck Pond for the summer. There's one pint on tap (Peroni) and the food was very tasty at a reasonable price and the staff were attentive and efficient.
Good service. Helpful with food recommendations. Large servings. Under 3's menu, great value for money.
Really nice place to eat. The restaurant has been converted from and old pub. There is a really big conservatory at the back where there are lots more tables so it a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. I had the salmon and it was very tasty with a good variety of flavours. Also very friendly staff. Will definitely be returning here.
My wife and I visited Prezzo in Ruislip yesterday for lunch where we both had three courses with each being delicious.
The greeting was warm and friendly, the decor and ambience of the old building is very nice and we sat in the conservatory overlooking the duck pond which is a light bright room well insulated from the surrounding traffic.
The menu is broad enough, the food arrived without any undue wait and each course followed with comfortable timing and no long gaps in between. Everything was nicely presented, warm and with good portions.
Personally I became conscious quite quickly of the "service" at this restaurant and asked for "names" so I could write a review.
As I mentioned, the greeting on entering the restaurant was warm and friendly and as it turns out, the same gentleman took us to our table and looked after our order.
Midway through our meal I asked this gentleman his name and I told Fabio how impressive his warm greeting and further gestures of asking how we were enjoying our meal were contributing to our dining experience at the restaurant.
Fabio, with his Italian accent and his warm easy charm really made all the difference in us knowing that we will come to Prezzo in Ruislip again.
We live only about 3 miles away although within that 3 mile radius there are many restaurants to choose from but it is Fabio's touch that will make this one outstanding as a go to venue in the future.
Good food is expected when eating out although good service is all too rare unfortunately and that is why the experience of yesterday will be long lasting.
Turns out that Fabio is the manager of the restaurant and it was interesting to note that when one of our courses was brought to us by Julia, she too asked us if everything was alright and if we were enjoying our food. Given this kind of service and gestures like this don't happen enough in other restaurants I let both Fabio and Julia know that it makes a big difference and was much appreciated by us.
I told Fabio that is was Giuseppe Verdi who said " You may have the universe if I may have Italy" and yesterday Fabio and his team brought some of the charm of beautiful Italy to Ruislip for us -
Thank you Fabio and Julia for a lovely visit, we will be back. Michael & Lynne K.
Very friendly atmosphere and lovely food. There were 4 of us in our party and we each ordered different dishes and all were very tasty. Big shout out to our waitress Shauna who looked after us extremely well - nothing was too much trouble and she definitely added to our enjoyment. This was our first visit to this establishment but it definitely won't be the last, Top marks all round.
Very good but a little cool on a day like today - wet, cold and dreary. Just had mains but delicious - burger and partner had Tre Gusti pizza - really delicious pizza - yes I pinched a bit!! Nice ambience and feel to the place even though few other diners for lunch. Very nice staff, attentive but not in-your-face. Definitely go again. Worth the price
Had an amazing lunch experience at the Prezzo. Very nice area at the conservatory especially with the sun out, it’s got a fabulous feel. The staff is very friendly and even though it was super busy with a birthday party going on, it was fast.
The food was good, real south Italian. The pizza posh pepperoni with the sweet roquito chillies was heaven!
Importantly the head there Fabio really took pride in his service and I think that makes a difference to any great restaurant.
There were 6 in our group, 4 adults and 2 children. The staff were fantastic, they looked after the young ones really well.
The food was delicious and served promptly. We can recommend the spaghetti bolognese, and spaghetti with king prawns. We all had a lovely time and will definitely be back. Thank you
Brought my nieces and nephew here for a meal to celebrate the end of the Christmas school term on Friday, and we all had a brilliant time. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and proactive when it came to accommodating the needs of some of the first eaters in our party. Already planning our next visit!
We have been here several times both as a couple and as part of a larger group. Each time, the staff have been attentive and polite, even during very busy periods. The food is always very good. The only thing is it can get quite noisy, but that is just a matter of personal taste. All in all, I am always happy to eat there, and will definitely return and recommend.
