A hidden gem of a shop. Has many of the traditional department store sections, including homewares, baby presents, haberdashery and crafts. Particularly great for functional and present-quality kitchenware, bedding, and has an absolutely huge range of kids toys for all ages.

A beautifully kept department store. Almost like stepping back in time. They offer very up to date goods at very competitive prices. Very nice little cafe tucked away on the top floor. Extremely clean place throughout.

Really nicely stocked department store with an interesting homeware section containing good quality and unusual gadgets. They also have a nice children’s toy department. Staff are helpful and ambience pleasant.

Great place with variety of clothes; underwear; hosiery; handbags and night attire and that's just the ground floor! 1st floor includes a small cafeteria, pots pans and everything you need for a kitchen or bathroom or even a bedroom, along with kids toys and unusual cards & presents.

I went in to the store recently looking for a particular item, a member of staff Nora knew what I was looking for and took my details and said she would contact me, well she rang me the same day and said she would put items aside for me in two different sizes.
I went in today and they there were, I also bought 2 more items. I can’t recommend this store enough, they have some lovely clothes for all different shapes and sizes. I will definitely be going back. I hate shopping, but this was a pleasant experience.

I found this shop a few months ago x it's a great shop for the older mature lady. Not expensive x quality is very good. The clothing go quickly as it's a different style than the normal shops very wearable. They also sell bedlinen x household goods upstairs.

We went in to purchase a hand bag my Wife see in there the day before to match her shoes and out fit but unfortunately it was sold that day I took a photo of the label on another bag and going to try contacting the manufacturer to see if I can get my Wife the one she wanted. The lady assistant in the store was very helpful and even checked in the store room we like John Sanders store

Fantastic shop, Lovely cafe with friendly staff. Simple but lovely menu, freshly made sarnie and cakes, great value pot of tea £1.00 cake £1.50. Highly recommend. Support local. Worth a visit

Such a lovely place to visit. Discovered this shop at Christmas as they hosted a children's activity and santa grotto. There is a good selection of children's toys and a cafe to rest after browsing the shop. Don't let the dated decor deceive you - they stock some high end brands and good quality clothing... so nice to see shops like this still exist!

A lovely old fashioned department store with some great items to buy. The toy department is a winner with the grandchildren there is so many toys. I love the kitchen wear department with all its gadgets, the small coffee shop upstairs is a traditional little area serving great tea and coffee.
This is a must for stepping back in time, you will not be disappointed, staff are delightful.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to this department store. Staff are very helpful and I appreciate the artisan products they sell at very reasonable prices. The toy department has a fine selection. Also has a cozy café. Bought some lovely items for the flat. We all enjoyed the time spent here.
