This place is a standard pub with one main attraction for family with young children. It has a free, indoor soft play next to dining tables. It's chilled out, reasonable prices and the burgers are very good. One of the best points is the lady who manages the softplay section. She is great with the kids, makes sure everyone is safe without being rude. She is one of the reasons we go.

The Fairway was very good for us and our almost 2 year old. The staff went out of their way to keep the little monster engaged. It made the evening really great for catching up with friends. The food was good and quick to the table. Will definitely come back.

It's sad because the train station being built next to the pub will be it's undoing, but they really try hard here. The staff are incredibly friendly and there's a lot to do for groups, families and generally anyone. Fun pub with sports area, kiddie zone and chatty staff. The manager Holly is doing a great job.

Had a great family meal there, today. There were ten of us. Food and service was excellent, couldn't fault it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Soft play area for the younger children. Would highly recommend you try the Fairway for yourself.

Good pub food reasonably priced, staff friendly and a good atmosphere. I would be happy to recommend it. I had chicken enchiladas with chips and salad. Could not finish it but did manage to fit in some cheesecake a little later.

I held my mum's funeral here the staff were fantastic and catered for all our needs. My mum would of been pleased as everyone had a great time although we had to be out by 7 it was fine due to having a live band downstairs where we could sit and carry on the evening very professional people and had a great time considering it being a funeral

Good food and alot of room for children and buggies in the restaurant side of the building, toilets are a bit run down and need a make over, only main issue is on both my visits the staff seem to be stretched to thin as there is not enough of them! However they are very friendly and good with children

Stopped by on a quiet Wednesday evening. They've spruced up the bar area since we last visited, and there was plenty of outside seating to enjoy the good weather - a bit close to the railway line, but that's not their fault! Didn't eat there, may well do in future - standard Greene King fare.

Love the driving range here - inexpensive balls, nice afternoon sun and some interesting local wild-life: foxes, deer and feral cats. You never know what you're gonna get. The pub is decent and got good prices.

Food is pretty good. Certainly great value for money! Love the roast potatoes- they really are the best. Cheap and cheerful food at its finest. Staff are super friendly too!

I really like the Fairway. The food represents excellent value and while it may not be the greatest meal in the world I've never left disappointed. The bar can get very busy and often only has one person covering both the restaurant and bar sides but ultimately it isn't a problem if you show a little patience and pick your moment.
