Beautiful cod chips and tartar sauce for under £9 Great value for money. Lovely clean shop with polite staff. Great trading fish and chips are devine. No wonder why the huge queues outside. Like the fact they have two doors one for take away walk in customers other for delivery drivers who are so impatient.

Wow love the new look. So slick 💃 🕺🏻 sad the restaurant has gone as they are the victims of the own success being so busy especially at weekends. Love the gourmet mushy peas with lunch special Cod & Chips. Chips taste crispier crunchy on outside fluffier inside. Jewel 💎 in the manor. Nice work guys 👏🏼👏🏼

Friendly. Excellent service, exceptionally clean and Hygienic. Brilliant grilled skate and huge chips with great homemade Tartare sauce. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been going to Aquarius for years and it never fails to disappoint! I highly recommend it. Really lovely food! I ordered through delivery and it was quick, the food was still hot and the portions are great. Really good value for money. Will continue to be my go to fish and chip shop.

Excellent fish n chips coming from another caterer. The service is wonderful, rations of chips lovely thin batter with great chunks of cod served with delightful tartar sauce. Packaging is sustainable. Perfect take away credit to management and owners. 👏🏼👏🏼

Aquarius never manages to disappoint!
Despite being busy on Friday and Saturday evenings they still manage to pull off the best fish and chips. Yes there may be many customers ordering at the same time during the evening,
they still manage to take care of orders swiftly.
The 3-4 people working at the front are professional and can always crack a joke and have an engaging conversation with customers which can truly brighten their day/experience.
The truly do value their customers and always provide reassurance to customers where needed, looking out for the people who have allergies or are new to the shop.
Shout out to the owner for hiring amazing staff who know how to approach customers and work during busy hours. Highly recommend this place for people who enjoy a traditional fish and chips!

Take out only after last year's refurb but for the better. They can concentrate solely on the quality of the takeaway service.
I always go for a plaice or rock if I haven't been to a chippy for a while, just to check up on their quality. Not every chippy can pull off a good plaice. I always have oldskool traditional battered fish, although matzo is an option here. I am pleased to say that the plaice was fresh and done perfectly. Well drained and delightfully crispy even after the journey home. A little on the thin side but that's no fault of the shop. My order also had cod, and sausages, both with and without batter, plus moutains of double cooked chips, so a reasonably rounded order. The standard of all items was excellent.
The good old fish and chips just isn't cheap anywhere anymore. However, at Aquarius you can be assured of a sustained high standard all round. An easy recommendation.

Not as good as it was pre covid, miss the home made coleslaw, the sides and the atmosphere of the queues down the shop/tables inside. However, it still does the best cooked fish in Hillingdon, unbeaten by anywhere else!

One of the best Cod and Chips I've had. Was in the area for the first time too watch the Wealdstone v Barnet match and glad i decided to give Aquarius a go. Well worth a trip if in the area!

I don’t spend enough time in my local area to find these places. Amazing fish and chips!
I phoned up to ask whether there is cross contamination with meats and they said no => halal. I was told that they change their oil every 2 days and that they don’t actually cook meat!

Great fish and chips always consistent and very friendly service. A really lovely well run establishment. Had take away and eat in service available. Try their grilled fish and Mediterranean salad it’s healthy and a lovely alternative.

Aquarius is a great fish and chips shop that has a very good selection of fish and pie dishes on the menu. I always ask for the middle cod which is succulent and chunky flakes of cod but my wife loves the tail end of cod.. Their homemade tartare sauce is awesome. Been a regular for over 13 years and never a bad meal. Great service and nice modern chip shop.

A small hidden gem in Ruislip Manor, where classic fish and chips is by far the best option on the menu. Not to mention the portions in this place are massive! Be prepared for a slight queue at peak times (weekends), but all is worth it when you taste your first bite. There is only a small area of seating and it can usually get quite cramped, so bear that in mind if you are looking to dine-in. Whenever you are around the area, stop by and give it a try.

The earlier reviews do not tale on to account that the Frier has changed (He ran another local fish and chip shop in the High Street.) Customer deals by text and a long line on a Friday will tell you this is a good establishment. The 5 star for scores on doors beats many locations and speaks to the owners attitude. Chips are lined up in hoppers waiting to be fried and fish is always tasty. Restaurant it self is no frills but the service is speedy.

Fantastic Fish and Chips. Had a meal in there today. Service was Excellant, just been refurbished and it looks incredible very very clean restaurant. The service was excellant staff very friendly fantastic grilled seabass with new potatoes and wife had battered cod and chips and was truely blown away. Reccommend to all best fish and chips ive ever had please go and visit worth every penny.

Greasy and felt like the fish had been cooked for a while, and re dipped into oil to re heat. Hence greasy, and fish was grey, instead of nice white flesh. Will not be revisiting

Sorry chaps this is not real fish and chips. Was very excited when this first opened up as decent chippies are rare to find. Tried it when it first opened and was just reminded of cheap fairground food and unfortunately, when I gave them a second chance the food was no better and there was less of it - although maybe this was a blessing in disguise?????
