Mcgovern Park Sports Bar

Amazing venue for any occasion. We had our Mehndi night and wedding/reception here and there was enough space for all our guests. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking and really really good value for money. I can't find a single fault for this place and will definitely be hosting future events here. Thank you to everyone at McGovern!

Our friend had a surprise birthday party there. Inside was nice, but outside was absolutely so messy due to a Gaelic game a day before, we didn't know where to park. It was very disappointing, I can't much blame the management much for people's behaviour. The car park was covered in tissues, plastic cups, broken gazebos, and the rest of the rubbish, and it smelled like toilets. Clearly, it was also used as toilets. Staff didn't have enough time to clear it all out before the party. Other than that, a big space for parking, 2 big halls with bars, and a clean and big pitch.

Paul, thank you so much for giving us a wonderful space to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday with one week notice! Donna & Ninn were absolute great bar hosts and the chef absolutely smashed the Indian menu❤️‍🔥 got so many wonderful comments from friends and family about the venue as no one knew a little gem was so close by! Look forward to celebrating more events at McGovern Park.

Hosted my daughter's first birthday there and I must say it's a fantastic venue. The staff were fantastic and the food was great. A lot of guests commended us on the location and catering which is all done on site. Paul and Natalie were a pleasure to deal with and were very accommodating. It's not that well known a venue so certainly recommend checking them out!
