What a find.....a real treat on the taste buds!
I was in heaven as my favourite Jamaican food tasted just as if I were in Kingston, JA.
The waitress felt a little under pressure as we'd informed her that the best Jerk Pork was served up in Andy's Jerk Bar, Mannings Hill Road, Kingston but.....she need not have worried. The Chef had produced a little masterpiece.
Add to this the Curry Goat, Rice and Pea, Plantain and Breadfruit and the overall experience was lovely.
If you have a passion for something different or want to try a little bit of Jamaica, pay them a visit. Your only regret will be that you'd not done it sooner!

Food was absolutely delicious. So much flavours, and enough spice on the jerk chicken to leave the mouth tingling after. Thoroughly recommend.
My 8 year old daughter wanted to come here after previously having a coconut drink from a pop up stand. She went for the tropical drink, the gentleman was very helpful, as soon as she tried this drink she said "Wow! I give this a 10/10,best drink ever" she was very impressed and can't wait to come back. Thankyou :)
Will be coming here again for sure! Food is amazing! Service was a tad streched due to large groups but John and his team (and his mum) were friendly, welcoming and wonderful hosts. The Big Plate was definately worth it and so tasty I wanted (but was too full to eat) seconds. Goat curry second to none. Cocktails strong enough they say hello and lots of interesting imported drinks too!
Atmosphere was vibrant and chill and really comfortable to be in.
Love this place.
Food is amazing, very simple and tasty.
Staff are very polite and always make sure to ask if there is any allergies.
We always have Yard Wings, Jerk chicken burger bammi and plantain.
Talking about fresh coconut water... Cant get better that this 🥥
Fresh Thai coconut served to the table.
Compliments to the Chef and all thee staff !!! 👏👏👏
4 of us have just been to this top Caribbean restaurant. We all had the same...Ribs, Brisket, Jerk Chicken, Prawns., Goat curry, rice n salad all washed down the a couple of Red Stripe....absolutely amazing food!! Highly recommended and will see you again soon. 👍
Best place in Rushden to be on a Friday night. The Ackee on Bammy!! Absolutely amazing! I'm a non meat eater by my ladies said the ribs were amazing too! Service was good. Rum puch was punching! Just as it should be. The house DJ on a Friday was just amazing. Engaging entertaining. A fabulous night for my birthday. Will be back!
Was a nice place and nice service the portions was a bit weird and didn't get much of the curried goat, the chefs specials was nice but the rice and peas was disappointing not as much flavour as I thought here would be could tell was just kidney beans and rice no other authentic seasoning, the highlight of the night was the curried chicken and the wings they served as the chefs special the salads was great including the coleslaw I would recommend but the portion sizes aren't what they should be if there charged more ir would be better so you can get more it was filling and the jerk chicken was alright recommend if you want good music good vibes and overall a nice dining experience
My partner and I got turned away from Zizzi because it was too full and it was the best thing that could of happened to us as we went along instead to Blue Mountain Yard. The food is was simply amazing, the jerk chicken just fell off the bone. The atmosphere was nice too.
Came In today as I've been wanting to try this place for a while and was not disappointed! We had the £12 buffet for two which Included chicken, pork belly, prawns, rice & peas, coleslaw and gravy. It was delicious 😋 and so much food thankyou! It tasted lovely and authentic, as a fan of Jamaican food I went away very happy. We also had sticky toffee pud with ice cream which was also delish! Definitely coming back and telling everyone to go. The atmosphere was nice as the owners were wondering round, and they played all the right tunes to jam whilst eating 🥰
What a great little café which is easy to get to and has designated parking.
The food here is reasonably priced, is cooked fresh and tastes great. As the name suggests the food is Jamaican themed. I am a lover of spice, but companion isn't but didn't find the food too spicy.
Although not cheap, Blue Mountain coffee is also served here. I don't find it as strong as some coffees but it certainly is smooth and flavoursome.
I hope to become a regular here.
Every time i come to BMY the food and service are always exceptional, the reggae music played brings a great lively atmosphere to the small establishment. Having been placed between some of the biggest known food names such as greggs, five guys, nando's etc. It often goes unnoticed by passers by but i urge you to not sleep on Blue Mountain Yard.
It is Amazing!!
