Just had a fabulous visit to Waitrose!! After the revamp everything looks gorgeous - clean, modern and bright. Staff as friendly and helpful as ever! I was blown away by the new cafe - could be visiting every day! Well done Waitrose, a triumph! 👍😊

Good quality supermarket with plenty of parking and range of facilities. There has been a complete refurbishment and refitting some time ago with the inclusion of a sushi counter, a new cafe and new meat, fish and bakery counters. The café has been redesigned and re-sited inside the store, which is really good. A new, small John Lewis section has been added which does some nice households, children's toys, a few books and cards.
Level of service and helpfulness of staff usually excellent. Wide range of supermarket lines including own brand. Good selection of wines, beers & spirits. Good section for low alcohol drinks, especially beers. Nice counters for meats & fish plus bakery, cakes, cheeses etc.
All in all a reliably good place to shop if not the cheapest offering locally. Good specialist lines. Bit over-focussed on Duchy Originals for me but that is Waitrose for you. Good as always.

Ever since the new restaurant opened we have almost made it a weakly visit. Good food and drink. Staff are always very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. One week I spilled over a whole mug of tea. A friendly member of staff came out and asked if I was ok cleaned the table up and the floor area and said politely that I could move to another table. Well impressed.
