A great inn for a social gathering. Plenty of indoor space and a superb garden available when the weather is good. There is also a substantial coveted outdoor space. We had a gathering and a buffet there October 2023 and were very impressed with the venue, the food and the service. There is also plenty of parking.

Loved our visit to this pub, really friendly staff, great food, and only place around that serves Black Rat, a particularly tasty cider! Great afternoon entertainment in the garden with a Rat Pack tribute singer. Do I smell a rat? 😂 Wonderful pub!

Been here a few times and always a lovely environment. But the best experience was having mine and my wife's wedding reception here. They helped so much with storing food and decorations. Love this place

Popped in for drinks but pleasantly surprised by the interior and the garden is huge.
Love the idea of seeing a live band in the garden in the future.

Huge garden, pleasant friendly landlord. Good choice of drinks as it was a Freehouse. Didn't eat here as kitchen wasn't open when we visited, it closes for a few hours around 3pm. Would return.
