Came here this evening, ordered the loaded nachoes which were amazing, loaded with chicken, cheese and dips. Partner ordered steak medium rare, the steak was so tender I didn't need a steak knife, just melted in your mouth. We had some cocktails too which were really good. Staff were lovely and really attentive nothing was not too much trouble. Would definitely go again, only rated a 4 as I would have liked a window seat, we will mention this on our next booking, as the views onto the town are lovely.

Not a bad little restaurant... Looking around Ruthin... for something to eat.. I just loved the menu.... Booked a table... Job done.

Staff did a good job... Considering quite a busy Sunday night...
Observation Fried calamari Salt & Peper not so... Not what I would have expected... Fried oil... Taste poor.
Chicken and Rib's.. Veg... Nice Sirloin.. On the mark great and loved the pepper sauce, very well done.
Fries... "Limp potato and sweat potato" not so good... Don't like eating food off a piece of paper on a wooden board... Warm plates are certainty a better option...
Creme brule and the Tiramasu.. OK.. Again could do a bit better.. Bottle of Shiraz was good... 😁 Thanks again and we would come back again...

Stayed at the nearby Ruthin Castle and this place was the find of the trip. Both times we ate here the service was fantastic and the food was amazing and massive. Also a gorgeous building, with historical significance. And prices were reasonable. Just go.

Stayed at the Castle hotel last night, 7 of us and ate at this restaurant, from beginning to end Food, Service, Staff excellent very large portions.
Highly recommended, even though Peter could not get a glass of port!! Little private joke between one of our party and the lovely, lovely, Hungarian waitress. Definitely come again.

We made a booking for 4, our friends celebrating their wedding anniversary. The friendly staff did all they could to help to put up balloons and banners. The food was excellent, superb choice in starters and mains. Even sharing the dessert was no problem. Highly recommend this restaurant, could not have wished for more and we had a fantastic and memorable evening!

We stayed at Ruthin Castle for the weekend and this restaurant was recommended by one of the locals. Couldn't have done better!! Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely homely feel and relaxed atmosphere. Food was beyond our expectations, well cooked and beautifully presented, and portions were huge!! If youre hungry then try the ladder of beef which was a scary amount of meat for one person and the other half had to help out! Three courses and a few cocktails thrown into the mix and it was a great evening all round. Well worth a visit, was very impressed.
Thanks to the owner of the Cwtch dress shop across the road for recommending this place. It made our weekend, and her shop is worth a visit too 😁

Oh my word what can I say, this restaurant is amazing. The food is superb! We are only in Ruthin for 2 days and both days we ate here. Jacobs ladder Rib of beef is unbelievablely good. I also had the cod which was devine! We opted for the Sunday lunch today which was also excellent. I don't know how we manged it, but we had the sharing dessert.. Absolutely amazing. To top it all off the gins were delicious and the staff were very attentive and gave excellent customer service! Well done guys, thanks for especially Peter and Gavin. It was such a pleasure to have eaten here. We highly recommend this place. 11/10

During a recent short break to Ruthin we ate here twice it was that good. The restaurant location is excellent, right in the middle of town. The atmosphere inside was great, cosy and snug but not cramped or squashed, plenty of room between tables. The food was fabulous, very tasty and good portion sizes. The staff really made it though, friendly, welcoming and warm. I would highly recommend to anyone and if in the local area again I will be going back for sure. Easy to give 5 stars here.

Went for a birthday and we were well looked after, with some lovely food. Steak amazing and ribs delicious. The 5 pudding taster to share, should not be shared!! Only disappointment was children's menu was a little sparse and those that had the Sunday lunch thought veg was a little bland.

We read the reviews and thought we'd give it a try ... We was not disappointed, the food and service are excellent. I must say it's probably the best meal I've had out for a while. The staff are so friendly and really attentative. The gluten free choice is excellent. I would highly recommend.

Went to The Myddelton Grill on the square yesterday for my mum's birthday the food was lovely and plenty of it my mum had the beef which she said was lovely I had salmon with jacket potato and salad which was so filling the salmon was superb, homemade profiteroles to die for � the staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble service excellent. Definitely recommend �

My partner and I are visiting Ruthin, last night being our first night, and we stumbled across this wonderful restaurant.
Not only is the establishment well presented, the staff friendly helpful and inviting, the food was amazing!
I had the 16oz Porterhouse steak, the daily special, and it was cooked to perfection!
I would recommend this place 100 times over.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal today, the food was excellent and the service was great, Having been a waitress myself for a few years and my family runs a restaurant themselves I think good service can make or break a restaurant. They guy that served us is an asset to the restaurant. What a lovely guy! Will definitely be going back! And there is always room for dessert ��

Highly recommend this little gem. Absolutely stunning. The staff are more than accommodating being fully booked but made room for us in the bar area which was more than welcoming. Food was delicious my husband has never has steak cooked so good. The restaurant up stairs is unbelievably breathtaking with its views out to the country side. Can not wait to visit again

Visited last night part of a large group of i adults & 4 children for dinner. The food was very good & the staff coped well with there being so many of us. One dish was a bit over cooked but otherwise the food was good. Great service from the staff
