One of the best fish and chips weβve had on the island. Served piping hot, big portion of delicious flaky haddock, ended up splitting one with my husband. Everyone in our party loved their choice.The restaurant is clean, service efficient, super nice staff. Would definitely return.
Our first time using Tony's Fish & Chip shop. Staff we helpful & knowledgeable & told us there would be a wait because they were very busy. The wait was well worth it because all the food was cooked to order& arrived piping hot & at the time it was promised. Very well cooked adequate portions that tasted amazing. Highly recommended & we will be definitely be visiting Tony's Fish & Chip shop on our next visit to the Island

It was quite busy but thats to be expected on a friday night, so i wouldnt eat in here on a friday, but they cooked the chips fast and they were very nice so 5 stars as a takeaway!!
Really Nice Fish and chips, they have some kids meals too.
The two staff working was really pleasant and happy to help, the Chippy is Cash Only so you'll need to pop to the cash point before going.
You can dine inside too but we took out food away.
I got 3 cod and chips, 1 quater chicken and chips, 3 kids fish cake with chips and 1 kids cod bites with chips and a large curry sauce. The chips and food was cooked really nice and was made fresh to order so about a 5-10min wait but it was worth it.
Polite staff, food cooked with passion and cooked fresh to order which is a plus for a chippy!
I'd rather wait for great .

Large cod is a struggle for me with chips and mushy peas,
Never had a bad bit of fish, plus they will do crispy chips if you request it.
Hands down and without a doubt, the best fish and chips we've eaten in a long time! π The staff were very chatty and friendly, welcoming too, and the decor of the recently-refurbished restaurant was immaculate and very homely! π
The batter was crispy and the fish itself was soft and flakey, the peas were juicy, the chips were soft and fluffy, and the curry sauce had a unique kick to it ππ»
Absolutely amazing flavours, very filling - and with an Β£18 bill for two of us for everything you see on the table - good value for money π―
The only downside is that the place only takes cash and doesn't accept card payments! πͺπ³

Superb fish and chips in a friendly,clean,tidy setting. Nice to be able to get haddock or cod. Highly recommended if you are visiting Ryde also car park just along the road.
We have been visiting Tony's fish and chips for years, with my parents, and when we had visitors staying.
The staff are really friendly and the food is lovely.
The menu is pretty extensive and there is plenty to choose from.
My friend brings her children, and absolutely everything gets eaten.
Because the food is so good, we have recently been going at least once a week and if it were too greasy, I wouldn't be able to eat it as I have IBS.
The fish is freshly cooked to order and we've never waited longer than 10 minutes.
They do get busy, but are well organised and efficient.
I would highly recommend them....(and anyone who knows me, knows how fussy I am !)
Also.....they're open all day!
