Lovely chips, not greasy and battered sausage is very tasty. Prices are very good too, great value for money. One of our favourite chippies on the Island and we've tried most of them!!

We stayed down Monkton on our holiday and often passed the Chipmunk. Drawn in by the georgeous smells eminating one evening we paid a visit. The staff and locals we spoke to were all extremely friendly which was great and there's plenty to read on the walls while you wait. The cod we had was of excellent quality and the batter was nice and crispy. The chips too had a few crispy ones. All in all we had a lovely meal.

A superb chippy. Karen and her team are always friendly, the walls are full of good jokes that you can laugh to while waiting. The quality of the product is superb always and they give generous portions.

Just been to this chippy on the strength of its reviews and we wasn't disappointed.
cod and haddock moist,batter very nice and crisp.
chips are gorgeous.

Haven't been here in over 20 years but was in Ryde and fancied Fish and Chips so went here. Traditional family run fish and chip shop. Good portions and good food. Not that expensive. Only couple parking spaces outside and residential permit parking only elsewhere so leave your car on the sea front. Just a few mins walk from seafront so great to get fish and chips from and eat on the front.
