Had dinner in the restaurant, halloumi fries were fabulous, and then out came the star of the show, the camembert Mac and cheese. My word it was amazing, had the stake aswell and miking the dishes together was beautiful. Only thing I would say is that they should make the mac n cheese available in a smaller portion. Amazing meal

Perfect location, easy to get around and we got to have nice evening walks along the seafront, food was also lovely. Room was a nice size, although we did stay in a room (room 7) close to the stairs and hearing people drunkenly stumbling to their rooms in the evening wasn't great due to being a light sleeper, decor is abit dated and some of the furniture was a little thread bare could definitely do with a little tlc, still has its charms though. Staff were lovely and accommodating, downside was the one time we did actually get to come down for breakfast was having to wait half an hour when we were basically the last people to eat. Regardless, we would definitely still return as it wasn't an extreme inconvenience and there was more positives then negatives and we still managed to have a great anniversary weekend just hope to not get a first floor room next time. 😁

I managed to get a free stay at Ryde Castle when I switched energy companies and my friend and I stayed here for the night. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were kind and helpful and our room was lovely. It’s 5 minutes walk from anywhere you need to go. The breakfast selections are plentiful, we had cooked breakfast which costs £12 but you can have as much as you want. Absolutely delicious too. I doubt I could afford to stay here as it is a really decent hotel so was very happy to get such an amazing freebie.

Found this place while on an evening walk exploring our first evening in Ryde. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Found us a table despite being busy and quickly took our orders. Food came quickly, well presented and piping hot. Absolutly delicious. Owners came and chatted to us and were interested in where we came from (Wales). Lovely people and very friendly. Will come happily come back again.

Thank you to all who catered for our son and daughter in law , Richard and Sarah Millard's wedding on 30th August. After being let down at the last minute from thier previous venue. In little over 2 months to thier wedding day you really pulled it out of the bag and saved the day for them. It was one of the happiest days for them , family and friends. The food was absolutely amazing, with everyone in agreement. All the staff were brilliant. We cannot thank you enough. Please keep up the good work . Even though we didn't have rooms we would still give you more stars if we could.

Breakfast was included in our room price. We also ate our evening meals in the ground floor restaurant and found the food excellent - nicely cooked, well presented and sensible portion size however due to a delivery problem, the menu was rather depleted. The bedrooms along the front of the hotel have sea views. There is a lift to all floors but during our stay was not working. Staff went out of their way to make our stay most enjoyable and we would definitely consider a return visit.

Had a quick lunch, juicy cheese and bacon burger. My wife chose the sea bass and scallop risotto which he enjoyed as it was very tasty. They welcomed our dogs, very enjoyable experience and well worth a visit.

Didn't stay, but ate and drunk here. Manager was great, looked after us, and all of the " Don't give a ruck" ladies rugby team. Thanks a lot.

Had a meal here last week, the food was really nice and good value for money, the service let's it's down, very slow and we didn't even get our desserts, I had to go back to the bar 30 minutes later and get a refund as we didn't have time to wait any longer. They said the waiter forgot to tell the kitchen, but I thought it was automatic once you ordered at the bar, so not sure what went wrong.

Nearly opposite the pier & the beach . Good seating outside to sit in sun with drink. The meals were great - my mother tried my apple / blackberry cumble & liked so much we had to go back next day so she could have one all to herself . Staff outstanding. 1st time went in there we was treated like old friends. Next time I go to I O.W - will make sure I go there again.
