Really nice location where we met friend for breakfast. Good selection of cooked food. Hot drinks are extra but the basic tea and coffee are refillable. Would suggest a few more cereal options for kids etc. Other than that a really nice breakfast in a great location.

Wonderful staff, amazing views, as much breakfast you can eat, and tea to drink. Everything clean, food hot. Chef promptly restocked the breakfast dishes for my unbooked party of 9 this morning. Great way to start our couple of days on the Island.

A wonderful buffet breakfast. Very nice and well cooked food, great selection and loved the tea and coffee refill station. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Would have liked to see some gluten free sausages but other than that it was lovely. Elaine who took our plates was very polite and friendly.

We went for the carvery and it was wonderful & plentiful,
Staff are friendly and professional, comfortable surroundings and fantastic views,I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

It's funny going back to your old haunts on the island . Memory's I have of this place made this a disappointing experience. Not keen on the idea of it now being a chain and this was reflected in my dad's desert which was not worth the money . Having said this I can't help but praise the staff and the food was what you would expect from a chain of pubs . A okay roast experience but when a place with such memories only competes with other major chains it's disappointing at best.

Great team of staff, friendly & courteous.
Buffet breakfast is being served. Nice atmosphere this morning. Elaine and Oliver the bar man were good representatives of the business. Tables were cleared quite timely too.

Very Good Gastropub on the Isle of Wight, The Sloop is nicely located by the Estuary near Fishbourne and has lovely views up the river. The all day Carvery was very tasty and the Staff were very polite. The only slight criticism is that they could do with a few more staff to ease the wait time but this is a minor issue. The puddings were also very tasty too. Excellent and would go again if returning to the Island!

Perfect location for breakfast when arriving on the ferry from Portsmouth. A great selection of delicious food was available and all the staff were very friendly! All on top of a lovely view out to a small harbour. Highly recommend!
