Excellent food, swift service considering there were six of us, good coffee. We were amazed by the quality of the food and generous portions for the money. Nicely presented. Although we didn't have any cake, there seemed to be a good and delicious looking selection. Straightforward tables and decoration Would strongly recommend.

Great food portions, very tasty. Very busy. We sat out side; it’s a lovely location and a little shady which is good in oppressive heat. I’d recommend their omelettes! Very impressed.

This is a great little place to eat -it has a really relaxed, quirky feel.
The man who served us was genuinely warm and helpful.
Only knocked a star off as the menu wasn't very well presented, allergens, veggie/vegan options very limited and not marked on the menu so we had to ask what was what which felt a bit awkward.
Portions were a good size and the location is brilliant.
It just needs a little finessing!

We visited here twice during our holiday. The Halloumi wrap was tasty and good value. The veggie breakfast was huge and lasted us all day. One of the better places for coffee.

Stopped for a quick milkshake/smoothie break on a sunny weekend and felt quite refreshing.
Strawberry milkshake was so yummy
Also took a side of chips for the way!!
I noticed many vegetarian options as well.
Staff welcoming and friendly!
Lots of handmade trinkets to buy, but wasn't sure of the price...plz consider having price tags!

We have been here once before and were really impressed with the quality of the food so we went back when wanting a nice sandwich for lunch.
Sadly this time around the experience was not as good yet this place is still worth a visit.
The bad:
- staff were smoking outside (which is good) but did it right at the entrance so no getting away from it when needing to go in or out
- staff were having lunch when we were there and decided to sit at one table speaking their own language whilst an English colleague was left to eat and was only spoken to right at the end which I find rather rude
- the establishment is also a shop for some curiosities yet not everything has a price which makes it feel like they can charge what they want
- my other half ordered a burger which was cheap and greasy
The good:
- lovely location right in the middle of beautiful Rye
- staff are always polite and friendly to customers
- sandwiches are amazing : good quality bread and generously filled
- the coffees are really nice

We ended up coming hear in search of veggie English breakfast. Staff was welcoming and food was great especially granary bread. We ordered two veg English breakfast, panini with chutney and caramelised onion and some hot drinks to go for 4 and we were so full. They served generous portion which was good quality.
