Very rarely do I come to Rye or even to the general area. I really enjoy stopping here for a drink, something to eat and the friendly staff despite the rain. I hope to come here more often when the weather is a lot nicer.

Great little family owned Cafe. Delicious, feel good soul food. Tracey, our waitressing staff was very good and made us feel comfortable. The place was completely full and buzzing with energy. The owners made sure they didn't return hungry customers and very kindly made space for us even though we had not booked a table beforehand. All in all, very happy and lucky that we stumbled upon such a good dinner treat! Highly recommended.

Had a light lunch on Market day, not too busy. Good service. Had ham and red onion sandwiches. Was surprised not to be given the option of white or brown bread. Very good latte.

This place is always welcoming, warm and friendly. I usually come here for coffee or a light lunch and I've never been disappointed. The coffee is delightful (I'm so over medium coffee pretending to be the real thing). These guys know how to make a customer happy!

After walking around this beautiful town and feeling peckish we found Cafe Zara. On entering the lady behind the counter was so welcoming that we decided to stay and have an early dinner. The food was well presented and the staff so lovely we ended up staying until closing time 5.30pm.The house wine was good and the deserts were amazing. We will return next time we visit.

Had sandwich and tea, soup and bread. Taste and service good. Prices reasonable. Clean surroundings, toilets bit small but OK.

Friendly welcome and served promptly. Panini & side salad was nice but could have done with a little more tuna filling. Coffee great.

Excellent food, service and quality. Amazing strawberry milkshake made properly. Burgers really filling. Your staff team today had been amazing (assisted by four of them, was not able to get their names as I forgot to ask/remember). Good value for money. Will come back for sure

Visited twice in one week we loved it so much, a few tables outside at the moment with current restrictions or takeaway also. Good selection of sweet and savory dishes but I would say best for drink and cake which we had on both visits. Scones were big and fresh with cream and jam and large pot of tea.

Popped in for lunch, what a lovely place! The staff were all really helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I had a tuna melt and scone and my husband had a baguette and carrot cake (he said it was the best carrot cake he's ever had!) the scone was amazing too, nice and warm! The place was clean, staff were wearing masks and I felt quite safe with the spacing etc. Will visit again next time we are in Rye.
