What an excellent chip shop and cafe.the food is expensive but it's well worth the cost as the food is very good.the staff are pleasant and the service is fast.i side all the tables are kept clean.its conveniently located on the pedestrian section of School Road close to the shops.there are carparks and public transport very close by.the place is obviously popular and I'd recommend paying a visit as well to either eat in or take out.

The fish and chips with their curry sauce is just second to none! My partner and I love eating here. The chaps are so friendly and we are never disappointed. I would’ve uploaded photos, but we always finish gobbling up our portions too quick! 2 pieces of battered fish and a large chips gets devoured within 4 minutes. Yum! Highly recommended. Eat in for a fresh finish… 👍🏽👍🏽 (two thumbs up). Thank you guys for the delicious food! I bet the other stuff on the menu tastes awesome too, but we’re still relishing our favourite orders!

I was over from Dublin this morning to attend a funeral, and myself and my Auntie needed something to eat before we had to face into sad day. We found Viviannes, and what a wonderful place, we had breakfast barms and a nice cuppa tea, followed up for me with a nice steak and kidney pudding (I can't get steak and kidney pudding in Dublin) with delicious gravy 😋 the sun was shining in through the windows, our booth was clean and comfy, with plenty of brown sauce and ketchup on the table, perfect, but just when I thought things could not be better on comes Demis Roussos, forever and ever, now I know this is not everyone's thing but I hadn't heard Demis in forever (excuse the pun) and when I commented to the owner about the choice of music it started a wonderful conversation with himself and his charming wife. Now I don't know about you but I found it a joy on such a sad day for me, to find a wonderful warm, clean and friendly place to have good food and to be made feel at home. So next time I'm over to see my relatives I'm heading back to Viviannes to try their Chicken Curry and fried rice, I just know it won't disappoint.

I am Julie from Nurse J Aesthetics in Sale across the road from sainsburys and sometimes the hungry takes over and I want something hot and tasty. I can't recommend this chippy enough. Always friendly. Clean. My favourite is chicken breast curry with chips. The best curry. Big chunks of chicken. I have told all my patients and colleagues ❤️❤️

Lucky enough to live to live in France, so can’t complain about the food there, but when I come back to the UK I always head straight for a choppy for traditional fish and chips with curry sauce. Viviannes did not disappoint. Greeted by smiling staff, who all seem happy to work there, super quick service, small portions available (cos I could eat more, but know I shouldn’t) and delicious chips, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Yum yum, I’ll be back. Thank you.

The food always amazes me. The fish and chips are always a choice, the fish is so crispy and the chips are too, i just love it. Even the coffees and drink selection is great. The service is always greeted with a smile, very inviting. I wish they did delivery because I would order all the time! I'm definitely intrigued to try their burgers or sandwiches next time.
