My husband took me here last night for my birthday treat he’d been a few times and said it’s amazing well he was not joking I had the 10oz rump steak with blue cheese sauce and I have never ever tasted rump like it it cld’ve easily been mistaken for fillet it was moist and melt In the mouth. I had crayfish tails and prawns as a starter and it was huge and delish. I have always wanted to try a proper burger but as a burger snob and have always been disappointed with burgers every time I’ve had one as no one ever seems to make them tasty just a tasteless lump of meat slapped in a bun over cooked and drab well my husband had the rump burger with onion marmalade and Isle of Wight blue cheese and I was able to sample it and can I just say it was the most amazing tastiest burger I have ever sampled will Defo be back for that everything was top notch it’s a bit pricey having discovered my large glass of Merlot was £8.50 but it was my birthday and well worth a special ocassion visit or any other visit to be honest can’t recommend it enough truly unbelivably amazing u won’t regret it can’t wait to go back

Had the most lovely meal and overnight stay. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a private dining room which was perfect and reminiscent of an old saloon bar. The rooms were all individually and tastefully furnished. I stayed in room 12 with a huge walk in shower. If you like a bath then room 3 is the one for you with a roll top tub big enough to swim in! Stairs are very worn and wonky which adds to the charm of the place, can honestly say there was nothing I didn't love!
