Pret A Manger

I've just moved to Salisbury and spending a Saturday morning getting work done in Pret has been one of my favourite things to do the past two months. The staff always greet me with a smile and are always polite. The runners are always making sure the tables and floors are clean. The bathrooms are clean. The wifi works and is fast enough for the work I need to get done. The Barista will sometimes chat if it's not too busy and even gave me a free drink once, which made my day! I tried a smoked salmon sandwich for the first time today and it was amazing. Their croissants are the best. I accidentally left my water bottle there (outside the shop) a week ago and the gentleman who was working alone when I visited was kind enough to put it aside so I could get it back. Not a single negative thing to say except that service is obviously less personal when there's a rush, but even when there's a long line I've never had to wait more than a minute for my drink.

I was here around 9am and the place being very spacious felt very cosy, homey and relaxing. Sat down for a bit to have a sip of my green tea which I enjoyed. If you like to people watch and let the time fly by they have good window seats and you could easily do that. 🤣 I enjoyed my almond croissant and this sandwich was really lovely. Meat which was very tender, chewy bread and tangy spicy sauce. 😊

I believe that they are a bit over priced. However, I think they have the best croissants in the UK, not as good as the ones in France though. Their drinks are not rich with flavor I have to say, it’s very watery, but does the job. I like the idea that you can subscribe for one month to get 5 free drinks per day but if you’re looking for a strong flavor then it’s definitely not the place to go to. Théy have a great variety of sandwiches as well and EXTREMELY sweet cookies and bars.
