Debenham's

It's a bit of an institute in Salisbury, so I hope we manage to keep it. It has home wares, adult and children's clothing, a small jewellery department, and a shoe and handbag department. There is a large beauty department with many different brands each having its own section, where you can get advice and have them test out products on you. Also a "brow bar". There's a very good ladies lingerie department with bra fitting service, and a "comfort guarantee" if you utilise this service. There is also a small café and coffee shop. I particularly like the Mantaray brand, lovely clothes and a good ecological ethos. I often use the free click and collect service for online orders, which is quick and easy. Staff are plentiful and helpful. My only small gripe is that it can sometimes get a little warm, if and when we get warm weather, although it is much better since they got new air conditioning. Plenty of gift ideas come Christmas. They even do gift experiences for sports car driving days, weekends away, cream teas etc which are available all year. Debenhams has plenty of sales and special offers year round. If the powers that be read this, please don't take our Debenhams away!

Spacious, airy tidy and clean environment. Blue cross sale, we had lots of bargains that's the time to shop. We had big bags when we left, great quality value for money. Professional and friendly staff who are always there to help. We found all the things we wanted and more. Wheelchair accessible enterance. Wheelchair parking very close to places you want. Disabled toilet available and clean.

Its rather relaxed, I never feel stressed or rushed when shopping here. The staff are absolutely wonderful and always happy to help and answer questions with a smile on their face. I usually buy my perfume here and always take forever to do so but the staff go above and beyond as I am so indecisive but I tend to get the one they suggest for me after smelling most of them (and coffee beans in between). Also the lady that helped me find my perfect foundation was a life saver! She really took her time to find the best match for my skin, to make me look as natural as possible. The only two down sides to the store is the people loitering outside the store, usually sitting on the front stairs smoking or using foul language but it is expected with so many bus stops being right in front of Debenhams and the only other thing that lets this store down is the toilets. They could be a lot cleaner.

Only tried the restaurant. Girls were fantastic so helpful. A really nice atmosphere chairs extremely comfortable unlike many of their other stores. Food was excellent and service good. However it does get rather busy but I guess it was to be expected this time of the year. Would definitely recommend.

I went into the store in order to purchase a dinner suit after being in two other stores where I had been totally ignored by the staff, Moss Bros and Chas H. A very helpful lady by the name of Edyta. I was able with her assistance to order a suit on line and it was delivered to my home the very next day. It is an excellent fit. Edyta could not have been more helpful and it was in stark contrast to the other stores I had visited earlier.
