Last night, a Saturday night we arrived in Salisbury after a long drive from Nottingham. We booked into a nearby hotel and arrived at The Bell and Crown at 22:45 hrs. The advertised closing time was 23:00. We were refused two drinks because it was quiet and they had stopped serving early. This premises lacks hospitality.

Our first pub after arriving in the UK. It was delicious. Self serve ordering at bar style. We had Sausage and mash, soup, and Brie and cranberry appetizer. It was all very good. We would go back. Service was pleasant. We loved it was pet friendly and even met a local pup named Stanley.

Very nice pub with tasty food. We will definitely come back. I ordered beef pie this time served with super creamy mash and peas. Everything was tasty and portion was big enough for person with huge appetite ;)
