Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a trip to Wiltshire. The location is stunning perfect distance between Salisbury, Stonehenge and Shaftsbury. The room was comfortable and well equipped and the pub was amazing. Drinks were well priced and there was a good selection. Food was expensive but looked fantastic. The breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. The lady who served breakfast and cleaned our room, Karen, was absolutely brilliant! So friendly and warm. Would definitely go back!

What an amazing little place that we found for a stop over. This place is like a time capsule pub the old style walk in smell the open fire no TV screens and Machines in this place. The hotel rooms are clean and fresh really comfortable beds and they are something just cosy about them. The restaurant/bar/breakfast room is just amazing simple menu priced as the normal and so enjoyable. The staff are all friendly and helpful and accommodating to your needs while you stay. So if you want a relaxed break a stop over with great pub come and stop here.

Stopped in for a meal on my way home from the coast. My first visit. Lovely old pub, excellent and the food was good and reasonably priced. I would happily go there again.

Met some friends here for lunch. It was a halfway meet up and the perfect place. Plenty of parking and very spacious inside. They also had some lovely seating outside so must try that next time. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. My friend who was 94yrs loved the fish and chips. Good place to relax and catch up.

Had a great overnight stay at the Barford Inn. Very friendly landlady who looked after us very well. Room was spotless and comfortable. We had an excellent breakfast with the best coffee I have tasted in a long while. Will definitely be returning and hopefully on a night when food is on offer as the kitchen is closed on Sunday evenings. Added bonus was that our dog was very welcome.

This pub has such a welcoming Staff , the service is great. The food was awesome, there are traditional English dishes but also some European dishes . My husband had the Steak and Kidney Pie and said he never had a better one! I had the Suflaki which was tender and very flavourful. On leaving we had a really nice chat with the landlady , we could not have been made to feel at home. Thank you , we will definitely return!
