Woodfalls Inn

Excellent stay. All staff are very friendly. Found the bed very hard the first night, explained to a staff member at breakfast and she passed on our message, returned after a day out to find they had placed a mattress topper on the bed, it did help a little but we got used to the bed after a couple of nights anyway. Such lovely hot choices at breakfast, something for everyone, having stayed 5 nights we tried most and can thoroughly recommend them all but especially the Chorizo Hash. They don't put a continental selection out for you to help yourself, but if you ask for cereals, fruits, jams, marmalade, etc. they bring them to you. Food in the bar and restaurant was tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the Sizzling Vegetable Fajitas. Pool table and darts available, so had plenty to keep us amused in the evening whilst enjoying a drink.

Jake in particular was lovely, we'd had a rough day being stuck in the flight cancellation chaos and raced down to hopefully transfer to the ferry, stopping here to grab some sleep. He was so welcoming and the whole experience really transformed our day. The room was beautiful and having a gin in the bath haha was amazing after a long day! Breakfast was also super tasty and the location absolutely gorgeous, loved the deer and wild horses!

Our reservations were messed up but the man who helped us went above and beyond to try to make it right. Unfortunately there wasn’t a room available for us but the man got us rooms at an alternate hotel and gave us dinner for the trouble. Top notch service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and would definitely corroborate you feel at home, the bathrooms were clean and large and there was a lovely lavender smell. It could’ve been better due to a few tiny flaws being that the bathrooms wouldn’t lock in which I suppose isn’t that significant, and there were a couple mosquitoes when we arrive but that’s not that relevant as you can easily modify this by simply shutting the windows. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming and make sure to appreciate it and we will definitely come back!

A great stay, the rooms have recently been renovated and are extremely fresh and clean. Great tea and coffee facilities! Breakfast was one of the best we’d had in a while with a lovely selection of choice. We took our dog and he felt very at home here for the night. Only thing needed was a spoon in the bedroom for coffee. We visited Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst from here which was a lovely drive through the New Forest. Thank you very much.
